We have an exciting new vacancy for an Industrial/Commercial Plumber with Supervisor experience at Alpha Mechanical Services Ltd.
The suitable candidate must be a fully qualified plumber/fitter. RGI registered would be an advantage but not necessary.
Supervisor experience of three to five years plus in commercial and industrial roles is required. The candidate must be fully capable of managing sub contractors of all trades.
This is a full time, long term position in which someone with the right skills can grow in the position and progress in a great company that focuses on a great working environment and job/customer satisfaction. The job is Dublin based, competitive salary and immediate start.
Key skills and experience required
- Ability to manage contracts in the region of 200k - 3M.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a supervisor role.
- Managing all on site activity.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Pro-active approach.
- Attention to high end finish detail.
- Can ensure excellent customer service with both new and existing customers.
- Be fully capable of managing sub contractors of all trades.
- Experience in LTHW Systems, Gas Systems, Water Services, Chilled Water Systems, fcu installation, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Mechanical installations, Pipework & Plant rooms, pressure testing.
- Pipe fitting in Carbon Steel, Copper, G.b, PVC etc.
- Quality of workmanship is hugely important.
- Good knowledge of current Industrial Standards & Health & Safety Standards.
- SafePass & Manual Handling.
- Proven ability to work on own initiative with a minimum of supervision.
- Must be performance driven and solution focused.
- Able to communicate politely and professionally at all levels, internally and with customers.
- Fluent English written and spoken.
